| I love teaching! I feel blessed to spend each day with children, watching and helping them learn and grow. I have been teaching for eight years. After growing up in California, I taught English in Shanghai, China for a year before getting married and re-locating to Virginia. I taught third grade in Virginia. My husband, Joel and I then moved to Maryland and I began teaching Kindergarten at Sligo. After four years in Kindergarten I moved to second grade. The 2008-2009 marks my third year teaching second grade at Sligo. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I graduated from La Sierra University in Riverside, California in June of 2000 with a B.A. in Liberal Studies. I completed my Masters degree in Reading Education at Johns Hopkins University August of 2007. I love learning! |
