Our lines ar primarily Mistretta and Touchstone with a touch of Gefions.Our dogs do it all; working instinct is tested, obedience training is on going, we're in the conformation ring quite often,temperment is of the utmost importance here at Artistic - our guys visit schools and nursing homes! At Artistic kennels, color is inmaterial, although all colors are present, with varying amounts of "flash". Health, soundness, intelligence and stable temperments are of primary importance in the pups we produce. We follow the Austrialian Shepherd Club of America's breed standerd, with dual registration in both A.S.C.A. and A.K.C., we offer health garuntees, and return/replacement on all puppies/dogs placed, and we are always available to our buyers for any assistance needed. We do O.F.A. and Cerf testing on all breeding stock, and encourage anyone thinking of breeding to do so as well. Puppies and older dogs are available occasionally,and we always educate our prospective buyer owners BEFRORE they purchase. We feel education is the most important aspect in the ownership of any pet,and do all we can to promote respondsible education. We have over 15 years of experience with raising and training dogs, begining with showing and judging Coonhounds, untill we settled on the Australin Shepherd as our breed of choice.We recently aquired and Afghan Hound ,wich will be shown in conformation and on the lure coursing field,as we believe that maintaining the instinct for the purpose for which a breed was developed is as important as the breeding of healthy animals.
