PENUMBRA: AN EXODUS PAGE

Real name: Bennet du Paris, Paris Bennet in the AOA Group Affliation: The Acolytes
Appearances: X-Factor #92, X-Force#25,
Uncanny X-Men #304, 307, 315, X-Men #42,
various AOA issues, and X-Man#14, any
others that I've missed , against Quicksilver and
the Knights of Wundagore, and the Bloodties
crossover with the Avengers.
Powers: Exodus is a psionic mutant of the highest order, with raw power on the scale of Professor X or Nate Grey, but not enough control to wield it properly. He came dangerously close to destroying the ilsand of Genosha, and may have played a part in
Magneto's more youthful appearance, if that was him...

INFORMATION and BIO: As both recruiter and enforcer of Magento's
dream, Exodus proved to be as much of a threat as the master of magnetiism ever was! His ruthlessness is matched only by his zeal to see his master's wishes realized. (*from trading card*)

Powered by psychokinetic blasts, teleportation, and invunerablity, Exodus claimed
to be following the catatonic Magneto's orders, to continue the mad quest for
   mutant supermacy on Earth.

The mysteries surrounding this messanic mutant are many! But Exodus ruthless
ambition, cruelty, and nearly limitlesss raw psisonic power are beyond doubt!

*info from compiled by Bobby (Marvel Villians Page)
What's His Prroblem: Originally a crusader during the Middle Ages, the latent
mutant power in Bennet du Paris was awakened by Apocalypse. When du Paris
refused to kill his best friend, Eobar Barrington, (really Dane Whitman) the 20th
century Black Knight, Apocalypse put him in suspended animation for thousands of
years. Awakened by Magneto. he became utterly devoted to the Master of
Magnetism, determined to make Mangnus' dreams of mutant world a reality.'

Heroes He Keeps Running Into: Exodus battled the Black Knight and Sersi
thousands of years ago, and fought the X-men in the present day. He's gone up
against the Avengers and X-Force, and battled Quicksilver to try to take his place
as the 'true son' of Magneto. Nate Grey finally 'killed' him but Exodus also fought,
(will fight) the mutant temam of X-Nation in the year 2009.

People Who Don't Think He's So Bad: He and the Black Knight were great friends
back in the Middle Ages, and Magneto saw Exodus as his number one follower.
Also, most of the Acolytes, including Colosssus, followed Exodus when Professor X
mind-wiped Magneto, though he could get a little rough with them if they didn't do
what he said. In the Age of Apocalypse, Paris was devoted to a kinder, gentler
Magneto, and also was in love with Alison Blaire, the Dazzler.

Most Despicable Act: During the Bloodties story, Exodus tried to destroy all of the X-Men
and Avengers along with the island of Genosha. This culminated with his attempted murder of
Magneto's granddaughter, Luna, simply because she had no superhuman powers. It took Professor
X and the Black Knight working together to stop him.

   ISSUE SUMMARIES

X-Factor #92 First appearance, doesn't really do anything, just kind drifts by, in a silent challenge.

X-Force #25 As hearld of the magnetic storm, summons the former New Mutants to
   Avalon.

Uncanny 315: Judgement at Avalon, Exodus banishes the Neophyte from Avalon,
instead of simply killing after the defense given by Colossus.

Uncanny X-Men #304 The Acolytes discover discover a mysterious figure floating in space,
thinking they have been sent a message from their 'lord' they bring it onboard Avalon, little do
they know how wrong they are, for its Holocaust, from the Age of Apocalypse.

X-Men#42 Cyclops and Jean Grey are caught in the middle of the crossfire, as Avalon
falls to Earth! Exodus and Holocaust battling all the way down!

X-Man #14 Exodus returns, in an attempt to wrest Nate Grey's powers for his own.
That is if Cable will let him get away with it! According to Bobby Coakley, where some of
my info comes from, Exodus was presumed removed from this Continuity. Nate Grey tossed
him into a ravine and sealed it up. Exodus shouldn't get out until 2099.
