"Hash Pipe is about being a transvestite prostitute, which is something I've
never written about before. That's the first time I ever wrote a song telling
a story from a fictional point of view instead of a real life experience. I
mean, yeah, it's definitely less personal."

Also - FYI - Rivers often switches the lyrics around in this song (to add a little confusion and fun). An example of this is after 'you've got your problems' the line that follows might be 'i've got my eyes wide' or 'i've got my eye swipe'. There are other lines that Rivers throws around.
