Are you a talented fashion designer who has yet to be discovered? Would you like if you and your designs were to be viewed by others across the globe? Have you always envisioned yourself working with other prominent designers in the fashion capitals of New York or Milan?
You have come to the right place. I can't guarantee your designs position on those famous runways, but I'll strive be a stepping stone. During the year 2005, I will be creating a website specifically for new and upcoming designers who are trying to make it in the fashion industry. My sole purpose is to promote these designers and their portfolios and get them the attention and recognition that they deserve.
This site will feature entertaining fashion forums, an interactive shop, monthly newsletters, exciting contests, and much more.
Each designer will have their own page which will consists of:
-A photograph of yourself (optional)
- A short biography
- A portfolio create with Macromedia Flash
- An option to sell selected items online.
The requirements include a portfolio of 3-5+ hand-drawn sketchings, photographs, or computer generated pictures. The payment would would range between $5.95 to $9.95 per month. ( A price will be set once the site is complete.)
There are very few qualifications in order to join the website, being that many of the designers on the website will have little or no previous experience. Nevertheless, a background in designing (such as if you have taken classes in designing ) would be a plus.
