We currently have five Birthday Clubs running. Members of the CCS list may join (or leave) a Birthday Club when it first starts up, or when it is re-forming for a new year. Birthday Club #1 begins in January. Birthday Club #2 begins in July. Birthday Club #3 beings in September. Birthday Club #4 also begins in January. Birthday Club #5 begins in May.
There are approximately 20 people in any Birthday Club. The participants who join all agree to a one year commitment to send something to all the others on the list for their birthdays. Before the start date, you'll get a complete list of all of the members of the birthday club, along with their addresses, and, of course, their birthdays. Cards, and the little enclosed gifts, should be sent at least two weeks before the recipient's birthday.
There is a price range of $5 - $10 for the cost of the gift, including a card (if you buy one) and postage. The $5 - $10 is whatever your national currency is, or a similar modest amount. Because of the significant time and financial commitment, we ask that all members be 18 years or older, and you must be a member of CountedCrossStitch.
You may only participate in a maximum of two birthday clubs.
