Oh the old site. What a site to behold, what a sight to behold. The fact that since my absence in personal advertising I have had approximately...erm.....ZERO visitors.
Should I lament the loss of this site...Oh no, I feel the best course of action is to revive it! After all, this was never about being popular, it was about being me and what do I care that the guestbook was predominantely used for posting abuse and links to porn, I can take abuse and I love porn!
And so it is with great honour that, at 21:24 GMT on 8/02/2009 (thats the eighth of february, not the second of august for any United Statesians) That I announce I will attempt to write poems again!

This is the website written by Karl Mercer, containing poems, essays, short stories, and basic literature. It is intended as an artistic outlet for a blossoming young writer *Ha! Yeah!*. Karl's work to date, excluding his own poetry, included helping an art student (see Collaboration page) *now partner of two years* Writing an outline for a comedy sketch show which is currently being sent out to various TV companies *unsuccessfully given that I didn't insult anyone in it, presumably*, writing for poetry competitions and short story competitions *never won*, and writing personal essays.*essentially useless diatribes of grief and woe*

As such visitors to this site have no legal entitlement to take it upon themselves to use my work for their own gain, be it in popularity or monetary. I have no problem with people enjoying my writing however I do have a problem with people plagerising it, or using it for their own evil capitalist gains, so don't do it!
