This page is a growing list of links of the "Mr. T vs. X" comic webpages that were all the fad around 2000 and 2001. Eventually, there were more crappy sites than good sites, and the whole thing was pretty much a running gag of pitting Mr.T anginst random people, from Elmo to Heads of State, from the host of "The Price is Right" to "a really big tree", the whole thing dissappeared by 2002, but created enough buzz to spawn a movie remake attempt that is ongoing to this very day.... and you thought "The Dukes of Hazzard" movie was going to spur the end of the world... |

Disclaimer: Mr. T, at least in the sense that I and most of these web site managers have, is a character that should be taken as one of the comic-book-style heroes that we all grow up with on our tv sets and look up to, mohawk or no mohawk. Sure, the whole mock-comic thing is making fun of the A-Team series and Mr T's character specifcally, but if people didn't like the character they were working on, I doubt that there would be as many happy endings as there are. |
