He's got game!
The reality is, I have lots of games. I like computer games, especially well-made ones.

I am first and foremost an adventure game geek. I like a good adventure game. When I frist spent hours wasting my life away at a computer screen it was while playing
King's Quest I in 1985. I have been playing adventure games ever since. I have gone through the full Sierra adventure series and most of the Lucas Arts ones. Now, I get my fix from Black Isle's RPG games that always have very good stories.

To me, the first and foremost important aspect of a game is the story. This is why Black Isle's
Planescape: Torment is the best game ever in my perspective. Because it has the best story ever.

After adventure games come Role-Playing Games.
Baldur's Gate II is to date the best RPG game ever. I got into RPG's for their adventure nature, but I picked up a fascination for RPGs as a result. It is a fairly recent fascination dating back to 1999.

I like good graphics and good gameplay. Being a computer nerd in general, I hate games with lots of bugs or with low playability. I find it inexcusable. It's like making a software package and never trying it.

This is what doomed
Arcanum in my book. Arcanum is a wonderfully deep game with a grwat story and powerful remaking of the D&D world as we know it, but all those dreams were crushed by the game's sad look and even sadder control.

I like some action stuff (like
Strife and Half Life) and some Arcade stuff (like Diablo and Abuse) and some Strategy games like Warcraft, and most of Blizzard's games. But I found that the one sI like are predominantly the ones with a good story to tell. This is why I was never really sold on Age of Empires or Command and Conquer as much as Starcraft, because Starcraft's single player mode had a powerful story to tell while those games were just pure fun strategy games.

In addition, I like Computer Sports games for sports I like to watch. Mainly Basketball (
NBA Live!), Soccer and the Olympics.

Some of my favorite computer game  characters are:
Roger Wilco, Guybrush Threepwood, The Evil Pirate LeChuck, Gabriel Knight and Grace Nakimora, Jon Irenicus, Yoshimo, Jan Jensen and of course the inseparable Minsc and Boo.
