A LIGHTER SIDE.

Tried to pull off a double knit turtleneck top before you take your earrings out. "Ouch".

Tried to buckle or tie your shoes after you spent hours doing your nails. "Oh crap!"

Quickly catch a sneeze with a handkerchief only to smear your lipstick half way to your cheek. "Oh silly me."

Proudly stroll into a swanky affair sporting a new skirt. Only to find out later you had it on backward. "Give me a place to hide!"

Setting talking with the girls. One asks, where did you get that nice blouse? And you respond, Oh, this old thing. Then have someone point out the tag you missed; hanging off the back of your collar. " Can I go home now?"

Go to a long awaited appointment. Set in the waiting room for hours thinking, what's taking so long? So you get mad and go home. Only to find out you went a day early. "Maybe I should take a vacation."

While setting at a fancy affair. Have your stretch girdle start to roll down and become a noose around your middle. Leaving you gasping for air. "I never wear those things anymore."

Get so excited because you are going out. You drive off with your purse setting on top of the car. "Damn, so many things to keep track of."

Get all dolled up for the evening on the town. Later that night, after dinner, when you go to re-apply your lipstick. You remember you left it setting on the makeup bureau at home. "Let's get drunk."

Gone to a social function to honor someone. And you trying to be a socialite princess. Stroll up to the person of honor and call them by the wrong name. "Oh God, let this all be a bad dream!"

Anyway folks, These are just a few of the things that have happened to me at some time or another.
