7. Margaret May MCDONALD was born on MAY 18 1906 in Iron Mountain, Laramie County, Wyoming. She appeared on the census in 1920 in Iron Mountain, Laramie County, Wyoming. She died on FEB 20 2003 in Bakersfield, California. A special event Margaret remembers is in 1919 her father and mother William & Mary took her & Gertrude to the State Capitol in Cheyenne to an Elks Lodge benefit dance that General John Persing was a guest. Her father brought the General over to meet them and he was quite the gentleman and he asked each one to dance, he thanked my parent for allowing him to dance with his family. The next day the children at school heard the story but didn't believe it and the teacher knew it was true so she had me tell the story to the class.
Margaret met her Husband Frenchy in Whittier California. Frenchy was older than Margaret and one day they took off and got married, without permission. Frenchy's father spoke French and so her younger brother Ned would love to tease him and would run by him and yell Napoleon is no good, and he would chase him, it was quite a game they both enjoyed.
Margaret used to do hair and give perms in her home occasionally they were called Marcelling.

She was married to Casmire M. "Frenchy" MARTY on JAN 6 1923 in Los Angeles County, California. Casmire M. "Frenchy" MARTY was born on MAR 25 1898 in Salsbury Township, Landcaster County, Pennsylvania. He died on MAR 20 1981 in Bakersfield, California. He was buried on AUG 24 1981 in Hillcreast Memorial Park, Bakersfield. Frenchy worked (with Vern Keister) for Flur Corporation for in the City of Commerce. He then work for Weatherby's Furniture for 25 years assembled and delivered furniture. Margaret May MCDONALD and Casmire M. "Frenchy" MARTY had the following children:
