Descendants of William "Billy" MCDONALD

William "Billy" & Mary McDonald
William McDonald born 9/22/1869 came to America from Ireland in the 1870's. He had a sister who died at sea and two brothers one name Arch and the other named Andy, his mother soon became ill and died at a Fort in Wyoming, and his father was so distraught after the funeral, he walked out of the Fort he was never seen again, this was Indian Territory. William and his brother Archie were adopted by a family by the name of Gordon O. Latham and his wife Ellen and were taken to live with them until adulthood, they became grandparent to all of William and Mary's children and even named one son after him. When William became of marriage age Gordon Latham contacted his sister Margaret Latham, Ellis, Miles who had a daughter named Mary and arranged for them to meet and later marry in Logan, Iowa on 3/12/1891.
Mary Emeline Ellis McDonald born 05/29/1870 in Pattonsburg, Benton Township, Daviess County, Missouri, fifth born of John Newton Ellis and Margaret Alvira Latham Ellis.
Later Gordon also introduced Archie to Mary's sister Lois Miles and they married also, and had one child Vena. William became a Rancher in Iron Mountain Wyoming Owning over one thousand six hundred acres of land and a full city block in the city of Cheyenne. He and his wife Mary created a large family of nine children.
At the time of their deaths they had 19 Grandchildren and 31 Great Grandchildren, I am their granddaughter (Margie McDonald) and I would like to find out where he came from in Ireland and his roots, as well as any additional information I may find on my grandmother Mary Emeline Ellis born in Missouri, and her father (John N. Ellis) born in Virginia and her mother Margaret Latham 1842 born Erie/Huron County, Ohio and am told her father Stanton Latham born in Massachusetts 1815 decedents came over on the Mayflower and it is stated as such in the Rotunda in Washington D.C.. Margaret & her two husbands John Ellis and Richard Miles also had nine children who were early settlers in Wyoming.
