**Thomas and Abigail Latham had two sons, William and Thomas, who served in the Revolutionary War, and then went Westward, so I figured our family probably descended from one of them. William was born in 1756 and Thomas in 1759 .
Buried in the Old Cemetery in East Bridgewater, Mass
Robert Latham, Susanna Winslow Latham, James Latham, Deliverance Latham,
Joseph and Sarah Latham, 15 miles from Plymouth. Many of their children are also buried in this cemetery. We went to Plymouth, saw Plymouth Rock, the Mayflower 11, which is made exactly as the first one, houses built just as they built their first homes.
The above is the only source I have had so far, except to confirm the names and dates through the Latham list down through the first five generations. It is reasonable to assume that one of those two boys, William or Thomas, is the father of our John Latham, father of Stanton. Source Mormon Church
