Puppy Info

Costs:

Prices include all shots/wormers as appropriate for their age.  We ask for a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold your puppy, and the final amount is due before you can pick it up or it is shipped.  If you require your puppy to be shipped, it will be an extra $310.  This includes $180 charge by the airlines to ship anywhere inside the US, a $35 health certificate from the vet, a $45 airline approved crate, and $50 gas to and from BNA Airport (from our home).  Two puppies from the same litter may be shipped together for the same price.  If you do not wish to pay shipping, we can meet you somewhere if our gas/hotel costs are covered.  This may or not be cheaper on you than shipping, depending on where you live.  We primarily use Continental Airlines as they seem to be the most 'pet-friendly', the puppies don't seem to mind the flight and the cargo people are always very organized and kind to the puppies.

Our Beagles are $275.  The total cost for a shipped Beagle is $585.

Our Cheagles are $150.  The total cost for a shipped Cheagle is $460.

What comes with your puppy?

The puppies get their first puppy shot when they are six weeks old.  We recommend you consult your vet on when to give subsequent shots.  We also give our puppies dewormer once a week beginning at three weeks of age.  A shot/medical record wil be provided when you purchase your puppy, as well as your AKC paperwork if you are purchasing a beagle.  People often purchase two puppies at a time to keep each other company.

Your puppy will come with a health certificate guarantee.  You will be required to take your puppy to the vet within 72 hours of receipt.  If, during this time, the puppy is found to be ill, etc, we will either replace the puppy, or we can refund your money (minus the deposit) once we receive the puppy back.

Each puppy also comes with his/her own toy that has all the smells of their littermates and mother, this helps ease them in the transition time.

Our puppies are kept in a box-like area, containing a sleeping place, a playing and eating place, and a potty place.  We strongly believe that potty training should begin at the breeder, therefore, when you get your puppy, they should already have a knowledge that they do not potty where they sleep and play.  We recommend crate training when you take them home.

Starting at 3-4 weeks old, the puppies are allowed to play on the porch and in the backyard, getting them used to grass, concrete, gravel, and other substrates.  Properly socializing your puppy to various textures, sounds, people, etc will help immensely in the temperament of the adult dog.  This begins at the breeder.  All puppies will have lots of cuddle and people time, both alone and with their littermates.
