Stanley Cup Information>

Lord Stanley and his family were always big fans of hockey. While Lord Stanley was the Governal General of Canada he donated a silver bowl as a prize for the team that won the hockey games. It soon became a huge reward and a great accomplishment to earn the Stanley Cup.

This is the Toronto Maple Leafs team the last time they won the stanley cup. It was in 1967. However we all hope they will win it again soon!

This year the Stanley cup playoffs are currently on there way, it is down to four games and eight teams. Toronto being one of the teams. Toronto has a great chance to win the Stanley cup 2000!
