| January: Get it together and know where you put it! We had everyone bring binders and each specialist had hand outs for them. Some of the handouts were: Cooking: Recipies from her cooking Crochet: Instructions on how to crochet and reading the instrucitons, patterns to make: doillies, snowflakes, lepracy bandages, newborn hats, gloves and the list goes on. Sewing: Basic sewing instructions, patterns for aprons and small projects Humanatarian aid: List of project that can be done at home. Education: Budjeting lists, Diet journal, 72 hour kit list, 2 year supply list, first aid list Everyone loved this and he have handed out handout at each enrichment to add to their binders. February: Love thy Neighbor: We made Humanitarian hygien kits and had a dinner March: April: Making our house a home: Crocheting around recieving blankets and burp rags, surging around them also. Making wheat pancakes in a blender and homemade syrup. May: Count your blessings ( Be greatful) We made thankyou cards that we could give to people. We also had a lady with a life altering experience, teach scrapbooking and leaving memories for our family. June: Surviver! Be Prepared! Games and handouts, divided up in 3 Tribes, 6 games and many handouts, like 72 Hour kits, 2 year supply, water supply. Games: Dinner in a bag, list of food items in the bag how many meals can you make out of the list. Sew a button on the fastest. Crochet the longest chain in 3 min. Questioner with points. You could make up any surviver game. July: Christmas in July! How to get ready now August: Family Home Evening Night: Creating Family Home Evening Kits September: Cultural Arts: Living in the 1800's Mini Classes: Making butter, Making Frybread, Making dolls, Quilting hotpads, Crocheted rugs from scrap fabric October: Literacy: Special speaker from bookstore or library November: Education: Special speaker mini class from a paint store How to paint your walls, "color, texture etc." December: A night in Bethleham |
