While searching for new endurance prospects we can upon Asif and his son CG Mayday for sale. We had been looking for a high percentage Crabbet stallion and I new of Asif's bloodlines so we decided to acquire a stallion. Asif is a lovely chestnut with three white socks. He has excellent bone and is very athletic. He is about 14.3 hh with a lovely wide chest and a great trot. Asif was both ridden and driven regularly in his youth. Asif was bred by Harwood Arabian Stud in England. He was imported from England as a weanling and spent his life until now at Cedar Grove Arabians, Stirling, ON. He has sired a number of offspring, both purebred and partbred. With Asif came is 3/4 arab son CG Mayday. His daughter CG Anniversary Edition (owned by R. Mollohan)came second at her first competitive trail ride. His half brother Plutus (same sire) also did competitive trail in the 1980's. Asif has a wonderful attitude and is well behaved.
