Tuesday:
Who knew that being on vacation could get so boring so
fast! I actually want to go back to work . . .

Thursday:
So it's Lunar New Year, which means pretty much all of
Asia is on holiday right now. It's comparable to
Christmas in North America-- everything kind of shuts
down. Jason, Steph and James (Jason's brother) are up
in Seoul for the holiday, so tonight, I met up with
them, and Annabelle and Garan for dinner at the only
Greek restaurant in Seoul. It's nice to have my
friends actually meet eachother. After dinner, we
went to Bricx for some drinks (there is an
exceptionally attractive bartender that Annabelle and
I really like to drool over!), and then I dragged
everyone to the dance studio for Helen and Joey's
Lunar New Year party. Since Annabelle and I were the
only dancers, everyone else got bored pretty quickly,
and we left to hang out at Annabelle's place in
Haebangchon.
Speaking of Haebangchon, Garan has moved to a new
apartment in Haebangchon, which in a random
coincidence turned out to be my friend Joe's old
apartment! It's a 3 bedroom place, and turns out
there's still a bedroom available, so I'm thinking
about moving in! My place now is crappy and ugly, and
far away from all of my friends, so it sounds like a
perfect opportunity to get out. After we all left
Annabelle's, I went over to Garan's and met his
roommate Gordon. Gordon is Korean-Canadian and has
some kind of recruiting job which gives him an
excessive amount of free time. He usually prefers to
have male roommates, but Garan thinks that we can
convince him that I'll be cool . . .

Friday:
Tonight Steph, Jason, James and I kind of went on a
wild goose chase to find this Mexican restaurant that
Steph had heard about. It took us awhile but we did
eventually find it, and it totally turned out to be
worth it! Everything was freshly made and delicious.
Afterwards, we rode the cable car up Namsan mountain
to Seoul Tower. It was so busy and SO COLD! We spent
almost 2 hours waiting in line for the cable car, then
for the elevator to the top of the tower, and then by
the time we got to the top, we only stayed for 15
minutes. The view was nice though . . .

Saturday:
So it looks like I'm going to be teaching the beginner
salsa class on Wednesday AND Saturday nights. This is
pretty exciting, because that means I won't have to
pay for either of the salsa classes I take now. Right
now Joey and Helen are in the process of finishing the
new classroom, so I'll probably start teaching in
about a week and a half.
Tonight was same as usual-- salsa class, then lots of
dancing at Caliente, and then hanging out with
everyone at Bar Hollywood til 6am! Good crowd--
there's a lot of fun people at the studio these days.
