The one-year Waseda Japanese Program was ended with a graduation party held at the student cafeteria. The ceremony was simple, but a little suprising!
Our name was announced and we went on stage to get our certificate. Since not so many of us attend the ceremony, it didn't take long time to finish presenting the whole class. While we were enjoying the delicious food, the teacher announced every student to take turn to give a speech on stage! This was shocking - a speech in Cantonese or English I could handle but not in Japanese, without preparation. Anyway, it happened - with a laugh on Toshi's face.
