In March 2001, our niece Kumiko and Yukiko came to Tokyo and spent a weekend with us, as their (middle school) graduation trip.
They arrived on Saturday morning. Immediatedly after picking them up from Ueno station, we drove them to the shrine Kamedo Tenjin to thank God for passing the entry exam for the high school they wanted to go. At night, we went to Odaiba for shopping.
Coincidently I had a party with the Cherry kids (English school) on the same Sunday so Toshi took them to shopping at Shibuya. I brought them to Shinjuku and Harajuku on Monday where we ramen and icecream...delicious.
We had dinner at home for all 3 nights: Chinese, Italian pasta and steaks.
