SEOUL
April 30 - May 4, 2003

My business trip was, once again, modified into a mini-vacation!  This time I even brought along my family with me.  I met Toshi and his parents (all in masks) at the Seoul airport to begin our first journey in Korea.

It was the first time to Korea for all of us and we had great experience.  Toshi and I found very good deals at duty free, while okasan had her best time at the market and department store stocking up her souvenior collection - kimchi and seaweed.  Otosan must have enjoyed the one hour Karaokae time the most!  Other than that, certainly we ate a lot of bbq and kimchi.  Surprisingly I didn't lose my voice.  Another interesting experience was at the Korea bath, where the customers are naked and have their skins rubbed.  That part was actually not bad, but I couldn't stand the oil message which I felt the lady was trying to knock off my arms and head.

Finally, thanks to our friend Esther who showed us around and let us experienced the excitement of driving in the jammed traffic :)
