| On June 18, 2000, after I came back to Japan from HK, Toshi picked me up from the airport and we visited the nearby Aquatic Botanical Garden in Sawara. The garden was not very big (6 ha) but certainly a wide assortment of aquatic plants are raised in the garden and offer stunning dislays of various species of irises and lotuses. The irises are at their peak from the end of April to June when the Iris Fesitval is held. |
