Come Unto Me

Come unto Me all who labor,
All who feel heavy, weighed down with care.
Come, raise your hearts to Me in prayer.
I long to lift you upward, to hold you in My mighty hand.
Come, weary, worn, and heavy-laden,
In Me, find a firm place to stand.
I long to be your Rock and fortress.
Come place your hand in mine
Beside still water I will lead
In green pastures you will lie
Peace Be Still! There is calm
Beside still water your soul I restore.

Come all those in need of My rest, come unto Me
Cast your cares upon Me,
Come, Come unto Me,
In Me alone,
Find rest for your weary soul.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

The call 'Come Unto Me' of Jesus Christ our Lord is to those in need of rest, to those in need of a Savior. He is calling those who need Him, who need His refreshing, His strength to follow His plan for their lives. So today if you are weary, and growing faint, take heart, it just means you need Jesus! Listen for His voice, He is calling 'Come Unto Me'. He is eagerly waiting for a response. Do you hear His call? Will you accept His invitation?
