Here's a little hobby my brothers KonaTree and BigOsFan69 got me hooked on. My username is KTree63.
If you're not familiar with it, it's treasure hunting/swapping with help from a GPS and the Internet.
Search the website for caches in an area you'd like to visit, then use a GPS to find the coordinants.
Some caches are to search for treasures (take something with you in case you find something you like so you can trade - keychains, plastic dinosaurs, Matchbox car, jewelry, or whatever strikes your fancy).
Others are virtual caches which take you to interesting places you might not otherwise ever see.
It's fun to do - children really enjoy the treasure hunts (even though they might not look it in all the pictures).
There are also Travel Bugs, but I'll let you visit the site to learn more about those.
You can also start a cache yourself for others to enjoy.
