I wrote about the joys and pains of single life for over five years. This website contains most of what I wrote.
An author once said - "being single is not a social death sentence." True. But somehow, society tends to be a bit harsh on those who choose or are forced to be without a spouse for the rest of their lives.
While I doubt that anyone would prefer to be single forever, I do believe that some people prefer to live a happy life. And if marriage is not a happy option, then there is nothing wrong with finding happiness in singlehood.
