Butterfly Farm

We were actually reluctant to go here, but it turned out

to be one of my favorite places on the island! What a hidden

treasure!

I don't remember what the name of this one was. There were so many!

There were butterflies from all over the world in the farm, and it was

exciting to see ones like this that were very unique.

This is called an Owl Butterfly. No it isn't alive- I thought

the same thing! It looks like an owl for protection from his predators.

Actually, when a butterfly is alive you're not supposed to touch

it because it will rub off some of the prettiness. That would make it

less attractive to other butterflies and it might not ever find a mate!
