Inspiration doesn't come on its own all the time, one can gain a lot not only from writing but also from reading. This space is dedicated to all those people whose Sts fanfiction I find worthy of seriously advertising (so no can say say I'm too self-centred). There are also links to the places where you can find the fics mentioned, and a small comment on them. I'm only putting links to the places I like, so this is a highly subjective recommendation, but, it might be worth you time, no? Most of the authors mentioned here are very good, and should be looked into. Now, as you must know, I favour good plotlines and (especially) depth when it comes to character development, so you won't find many parodies or big fights here; I sway to the more emotional tendencies. This is not a site dedicated to my friends, but to those whose work I admired.. to those who by sheer inspiration, have inspired me so many times. So... in NO particular order...

The Fall of A Goddess
Derrewyn's current project. A highly emotional and extremely interesting plotline revolving around Sanctuary (after Hades) and her personal creation, Ortygia. Centred on Hyoga and the Goddess of the Hunt, Artemis; this fic is not only well written but also very deep in the area of character development. I find it quite addictive after a while!

The Rainbow Series
Torquemada's ongoing masterpiece, devoted to the Asgardians. A deepening and unveiling of the God Warriors' secrets and motivations. This fanfictions has wonderful character insights and interesting narrative style (slightly different for each chapter); a great piece of work.

On a Distant Shore
Altair Lisa seemes to have managed to convince most of us that Seiya and Shaina make a good couple, probably becuase her fanfic is so convincing in itself. A deep, soulful story of two lovers bound and separated by destiny. Contrary to many stories, Lisa's pet-project is very down to earth and surprisingly human when it comes to studying each saint's personality. Very good!

The S-Files
A funny and humane observation of the Saints, done by two wacky scientists with interesting inclinations. This fic has very curious views regarding the Sts personalities, and a light easy-to-read style that makes it all terribly enjoyable. Stayka has a way with parodies that makes them not only funny, for there is always an edge of depth to each personality.

Brian Doyle's Works
Quite a wealth of fanfics, set in the same universe all. Brian gives a new and fresh view of June and her past, mixed with some new saints and, as always, a new mission. The narrative style is fluent and the plotlines really captivating. Not to mention, character development is on of the things Brian excells at.

Avalon
Boadicea's story introduces a good dose of Celtic mythology and an original cast of warriors that deserve a good look. The characters in her works are considerably more mature in more than one sense, since she assumes they are much older by then. A fast and griping story with lots of romance and dark conflicts. Its sequel "Tristan" is just as good, pity it was never finished.

A Little Flame Under the Ice
Seiiruika's fanfic tells the story of Camus and Milo when they were trainees, and their lives in Sanctuary. Aside from the new characters -very good ones at that- the story is interesting and highly emotional. A sad yet sweet version of how Camus came to Sanctuary as a child, and the life he lived.

Starhill
Pollux's fanfic is oddly dark, but tinted with a strange kind of hope. Spanning the few years Saga and Kanon trained together, it gives Saga's POV regarding that whole situation. Once again, very deep with very interesting character views. A good story about the diving lines between evil and good.

La Batalla de los Doce Tresors
Mjoony has written one of the most amazing Sts fanfics I have ever read. The best definition for this fic would be to say it is an epic. An alternate version of the war against Hades, with wonderful characters and a deep plotline that takes the saints harshly into one of the hardest wars they ever fought. Stunning, easy to read and interesting. A must read if you know Spanish!

Perhaps at some point I will add recommendations for fanfiction on other series, but if you want some clues on to that, go read my profile and you will find them. As for those who appear here, I can only hope they keep up their wonderful work or become pro's. I'll pray this helped. ^_^;
