Berlin - 2004
I spent June & July 2004 traveling in Europe. It was a blast. The following pictures are a few of the highlights.

I started my trip in Berlin, and it was my hub city. I spent a number of weeks there, did a few gigs and met lots of new people.

This page is pictures from Berlin. To see the other cities I visited click on the links below. ( if the links don't work, cut & paste the address) They are listed in the order that I visited them.

VIENNA   : http://www.geocities.com/karengallinger/photopageVienna

The Kaiser Wilhelm Church Old & New. The top was blown away in WWII. The locals call it The Broken Tooth. The new church is on the left. Check Point Charlie, formerly the only way from East to West Berlin. Thankfully the guards can enjoy a friendly chat now.
What remains of the Berlin Wall. When they divided the city parts of the wall went right through people's homes.
Reclaiming parts of the wall with art.
The beautiful Spree River, right smack in the city. Berlin is supposedly 1/3 water, 1/3 trees & 1/3 buildings.
Love this gate behind a club I played. This city LOVES the arts! Unfortunately, they also have graffiti. The good news is that they refrain from plastering it all over really cool stuff...
Group of friends at a gig. For those of you who know Prince Robinson, that's him, top center.
