7th Grade:
Standard of Excellence, Book 2 (Blue)
8th Grade:
Standard of Excellence, Book 3 (Green)

You will need your instrument, your music, and your pencil every day.
We will not get to meet until Thursday, August 30.  Mr. Oldham will be in the hallway beside the cafeteria to meet 6th Grade band students at the beginning of Encore time.  Mrs. Franks will be in the hallway beside the cafeteria to meet 7th and 8th Grade students.
Look over your school and activities schedule carefully and go ahead and set up a regular time to practice.  Having practice scheduled into your daily activities makes it easier for you to remember!  Everyone needs to practice at least 20 minutes per day every day to progress satisfactorily.
6th graders need at least 10 minutes per day for the first couple of months.  Gradually increase your time to 20 minutes per day.
