| This is the Porta Nigra (Black Gate). It is the biggest surviving city gate north of the Alps. It was built in the late 3rd century. |

| These three pictures are from the Kaiserthermen (Imperial Baths). They were built by Emporer Constantine in the early 4th century. The children had a lot of fund playing in the numerous underground passageways. |
| These three pictures show front of the Dom (Cathedral), the back courtyard of the Dom and adjoining Liebfrauenkirche (Church of Our Lady). The Dom was started in the year 326 as the first Christian church in Trier under Emporer Constantine. There were many changes and additions over the years, but you can still some of the original Roman columns inside. Liebfrauenkirche was built in the 13th century. |
