| Skiing in Garmisch, Germany |
| This was the first time skiiing for both Rachel and Noah. They both had a blast and made friends in each of their groups. Karen and Ralph opted for taking a few mountain hikes while the kids enjoyed ski school. It was perfect weather for the week as we all enjoyed the majesty of the mountains around us! |
| We also enjoyed a few local attractions. One evening we took a torch light walk in the Partnacht Gorge. The water was still rushing below while the walls were covered in ice. Walking in the dark by torch light had a real "Lord of the Rings" feel to it. We ended the walk by visiting a local restaurant for a very welcome hot beverage! We also had a dinner one evening with most of the families from Ralph's office that were on the ski trip for a traditional German meal complete with accordian player and the dancers below. |
