An afternoon at the Keukenhof
In late April, we visited the Netherlands' most famous flower gardens, the Keukenhof, in Lisse, only open from late-March to late-May.  Ralph's dad and stepmom, Ralph and Laurie, were here and we had a beautiful day.  They said it was the most beautiful place they had ever seen with perhaps the exception of Augusta National Golf Course.  Really, the pictures don't do it justice.  It was surprisingly family friendly with a playground, a maze, water stepping stones (above left), a windmill, and restaurants.
This spot reminded us of a running river.
Here are some of the bulb fields on the edge of the park.
These orchids were part of an amazing indoor exhibition.
Grandad and Laurie with little Kings in front of yet another beautiful garden.
Check out these daffodils.
There seemed to be tulips in every possible color combination.
