| Windmills |
| This is the De Valk windmill in the town of Leiden. We toured it in June. In July, we visited Maurodam, a park in The Hague showing The Netherland's landmarks in miniature scale, and found the same mill (below). |

| While Teresa and Pete visited we took a fun trip on a boat through lakes and canals on a not too sunny Saturday in October. There were lots of windmills to see and plenty of cows too! It was interesting to see that often the fields were lower than the level of the water. We do (as does much of this part of Holland) live below sea level. |
