The sakura at Kenroku-en in Kanazawa. Kenroku-en is one of Japan's three most important gardens (the other two are in Okayama and Mito). Like Kakunodate, Kanazawa has preserved samurai houses. Unlike Kakunodate, Kanazawa's samurai district is filled with tourists. My journal entry about Kanazawa.
