On 20 Jan 2001 I attended the Inauguration Day protests in Washington, DC. A large number of protesters attended. In fact, this was the most heavily protested inauguration day since 1972 (Nixon). I am pleased to share some of my experiences in DC. On this site you will find pictures, first-hand accounts, and other randon tidbits about J20 2001 in DC. If you attended the protests and would like me to include your pictures and firsthand accounts on this page, please e-mail me. Thanks, and enjoy!
Here are a few of the pictures that I took. Click on an image to enlarge it.

"Racist, sexist, anti-gay
Bush and Cheney go away!"
"Oh no Gore's ahead
I think I'll call my brother Jeb!"
"Bush needs a brain
Cheney needs a heart!"
"Hey Bush we know you
Your father is a killer too!"
"Hey hey, ho ho,
Dubya has got to go!"
"Gore got more!!!"
"Pro-choice raise your voice!"
"Illegit...
Illegit...
Illegitimate!"
Most of these are hilarious, but some are about serious issues.
Look! About 1/4th of my face ended up in this picture taken by an NPR photographer!
