Its Father's day again, this is the 5th Father's day I've had to spend without my dad, and this year I decided to try to rebuild the website that I had made in his memory. I had a very nice website built for my dad telling his story of his battle with cancer, but somehow it got lost in the internet and I can't find it again. It took almost a year to build that site, and I had started right after my dad died, telling his whole story of his treatment and eventually of his dying. It was very healing I guess telling that story, and knowing that a least a piece of my dad's history was going to live on..... and I still want that for him. Its not going to be as exact on details as it was because even though at the time I thought most of the details of the dates of his treatments and hospitalizations would be burned into my memory forever, time did fade these memories some, and I don't know exact dates any more, but the facts of his diagnosis, treatment and death are still clear in my mind and I want them to be remembered and my dad's memory to be kept alive. So please feel free to read these pages and leave your comments. |
