| Throughout the semester I have had the opportunity to work on a website about Hearing Children with Deaf Parents.This has been an ongoing project for me and because of that I have been able to improve it. When coming into 3380 I felt that the site was a very good site, but I then began reading more in the Yale Study Guide and realized that the format of the site was insufficient. Some of the different aspects I have focused on over the duration of the project have been the layout, editing and the format. One of the first things I noticed about the layout of the site was that the background was very dark making it difficult for the reader to read. I also had my informative sections in paragraph format, which is inneffictive because when someone is looking at the site they are simply scanning it for impariative information. I also found certain sections that needed to be edited. One of the main things I did do to improve this site was to add more informative infromation and links. I added sections such as language acquisiton, which is a very interesting topic to look at in children of these circumstances. | ||||||||||||||||||
