We want happiness because it gives us peace of mind, which in turn gives us energy to overpower our emotions. Comfortable feeling is liberation that gives happiness and uncomfortable feeling is constraint, which makes us morose. We feel uncomfortable when a boss insults us openly because it is not relaxing and in consequence we give birth to negative feelings. On the other hand these feelings of affronts have gone deep into us and the damage has already been done. As a result we feel frustrated and there grows a feeling of vengeance. If at that moment we may think the outbursts of the boss were usual in a routine way then we shall not feel indignant and there will not be any loss of energy. We shall feel the same as we were feeling previously. I am constrained to feel like that because the bosses reproach is not in my control but I have full control on myself to shape my thoughts to my benefit.
In the meantime there emerges another thought which could repair the situation, provided I may talk to the boss explaining my view point and convincing him to change his opinion. This way I can normalize my relations with the boss thinking the confrontation is likely to make the situation worse. I will continue to remain under depression and deplete much of my desirable energy making me inept. The interaction between my mind and soul continues to get the better of my negative thoughts. Finally good sense prevails and I succeed in setting my mind under control to get out of depression and not restricting the energy to become low and exhaust. The bitterness showed by me on my wife and children out of sheer frustration ended and the wisdom prevailed on me to forget the incident and determine my pathway to accomplish happiness. My mind selected the appropriate option and I negated the negative thought to get positive tremors for reconciliation and to get rid of dejection.
There are various approaches to let positive thoughts emerge in our mind provided we are clotted in an air of skilled eagerness to attain happiness. For that we need to sit for five to ten minutes in prayers before the sun peels off the darkness, to make our mind ready to respond. We should work on a single thought, realizing that my thought is powerful; I am the master of the state of my mind. The quality of our thought will improve with worship, and will make us chockfull with divine ecstasy. People around might take it otherwise but I am sure that I am the creator of my thoughts in all the situations irrespective of the circumstances. I feel determined to create vibrations of peace, love and happiness through my positive thoughts. My immediate need is to put a break to my emerging negative thoughts which I specifically created for my boss. After doing that I become firm and feel strong to change myself for conquering happiness.
The main drawback is that we are socially very conscious and remain worried realizing what people will think of us. People have different views and want to act differently, but I have to work for myself and the energy I will create from my actions is for me only. Why should I care for other people who for most of the time will criticize me? My happiness doesnt depend on other people but on my own thoughts and actions. If after being antagonized with the boss I sit on my desk and start working it will not be possible for me to devote full attention to my work. The negative thoughts which I have already created are responsible for our distraction, and to determine the path of annihilation for me. Thus I feel compelled to crack down on the loss-making and dangerous world of my misdeeds to govern my pathway to development.
Since long we are under the impression that our destiny has already been written by the Almighty and we shall obtain whatever has been destined for us. Let us go deep into it and find out what is correct about our presumption. We believe that a positive thought sends us positive energy and our negative thought sends us negative energy and also assume that the energy comes to us from outside. It is also etched on our mind that our positive thoughts allege us to do good deeds and we get benefit out of it which goes to the account of our karmas. Good deeds increase our energy and we determine to add more benefit of positive thinking to our account, realizing that this is my earning and I can take it back home. Thus our creation of good or bad deeds is due to our actions and we assume that good actions add to the benefit to our account and the bad actions minimize our earnings, debiting them to our account. If it is so cant we believe that this addition and subtraction is the result of our own actions which we daily perform during the day?
It is now crystal clear that we write our destiny ourselves and are the masters of our thoughts and actions. The myth that our destiny is written by the Almighty is ambiguous. Energy flows from outside to inside is again not truthful. In fact the flow of energy is a two-way process; it flows in and the same energy flows out. Supposing with negative energy we show anger to a friend and he will not be kind enough to show us love but send his frustration back to us. If we have cheered somebody we shall definitely feel the return feelings of peace, love and happiness. Thus the question of destiny giving us what has already been destined for us is fictional. Only our good or bad deeds are responsible for our destiny and we are instrumental to create culture of ethics and not to lose faith in God.
