SPEAKING
THERE ARE FOUR PARTS OF THE SPEAKING EXAM
PART ONE deals with the examiner asking general questions about your hobby, why you're studying English, where you're from etc.  This is about two minutes

PART TWO  is where you are given two photos and you must compare and contrast those photos and answer a specific question about the photos.  This is about one minute

PART THREE is where you work with your partner on a task.  This should be about three minutes.

PART FOUR is an open discussion where you are given questions which are similar to what you did in part three and have a discussion on those questions.
PART ONE  HINTS

1)  Remember to answer the questions in full.  Give as much detail as you can to the question.
2)  LISTEN to the question.  Don't worry so much about what you are going to say that you forget to listen. 
3)  You can practice for the speaking and it is worthwhile doing but don't memorize anything because then it won't sound natural.
PART ONE EXAMPLE QUESTIONS

Can you tell me where you study English?
And How long have you been studying there?

Can you tell me a bit about the students-do you have a lot in common with them?

And what's your main reason for studying a foreign language?

Can you tell me something about the neighbourhood where you live?

And do you live on your own or with your family?

What are the advantages/disadvantages of that?

And what about your plans for the future?  Can you tell me about them?
PART TWO HINTS

1) Remember you only have a minute for this so practicing this part will always help
2)  Comare and contrast means just that how are they similar and how are they different
3)  Use certain sayings for example "on the one hand... but on the other hand...."
4)  DON"T FORGET TO LISTEN TO THE QUESTION AND THEN ANSWER IT!!!
PART TWO QUESTION
I'd like you to compare and contrast these two pictures sayingwhere you think these two places are and where you'd prefer to be.You only have about a minute for this, so don't worry if I stop you.
PART THREE HINTS
1) This is where you and your partner work together, so give them time to speak.
2) use terms like" I agree with you" or" I completely disagree"
3) Relax but remember to come up with anagreement at the end even if it an agreement to disagree.
PART THREE QUESTION
Your class is going to get together when the exms are over.  You and your partner have been asked to decide the best way to do this and to make the arrangements.  Look at the list of suggestions and try to agreeon a plan for the celebration.  Spend about three or four minutes on this.

END OF COURSE CELEBRATION DAY AND TIME?
Place-
school?  someone's house? restaurant? elsewhere?
EVENT-
a party? a meal? a picnic? a walk?
ENTERTAINMENT
food? music? anything else?

PART FOUR HINTS
1) Remember to listen to the question.
2)  Be prepare to be part of a three way conversation
3) Also be prepared to answer a question directed at you.
4) Remember this is a discussion so feel free to offer your opinion.
PART FOUR QUESTION (about 4 minutes)

Do you prefer to celebrate special occasions with family or with friends? Why?
How do young people generally like to spend an evening out in your country?
Would your parents have done similar things to you when they were young? Why/why not?
In what ways do young people have more independence than they used to?
