Our family originally hails from Western Pennsylvania. In 1998, my husband
was offered an opportunity through his job to relocate to Iowa. Well he did
and here we
are. I don't know if Iowa will ever be the
same.
We live just outside of Long Grove, Iowa which is about 20 minutes north of
Davenport.
It is absolutely amazing how much there is
to see and do in the land of corn, beans and hogs.
If you did not already know, we live on fairly flat land, and it gets
quite windy, and during the winter months, that equates to freezing your butt
off, but the
rest of the year, this land has real beauty.
