How We Came To Be...
Leverage officially formed in Fall 2005, although our history goes back nearly two decades. Jeff Mauck and Eric Prater have been playing together nearly 18 years. When they left from their previous band of 5 years, they asked Rich McLaughlin to join. Rich had also previously played with Jeff Mauck. Through the bands original bass player Scott, Jeff Metz was asked to join shortly after Rich jumped on board. Steve Anleitner joined the band in Spring 2007, and the newest member of Leverage is Valencia Bogardus who has taken over lead vocals in July 2007.
NEWS!!!! Wait no longer Leverage fans - Saturday, September 22, 2007 we will be melting faces at The Bullfrog in Redford, Michigan with our new singer, Valencia Bogardus. Please come out and give her a warm welcome and hear our new songs!
