Kappa
Psi Upsilon
of
Alfred University
Formed in 1922, Kappa Psi Upsilon is one of the oldest local fraternities on
the Alfred University campus. Being a local fraternity, we set our own rules and
do what we feel is best for us and our house, without intervention from national
or other affiliations. We own our house, situated across the valley at the top
of the hill on 37 Hillcrest Drive, Alfred, New York.
At Kappa we hold the ideals of brotherhood in the utmost fashion. We open up
our doors and provide an excellent social environment for the Alfred student
body numerous times over the school year, including bands on Homecoming and Hot
Dog Day. We also do different community service projects throughout the semester
to give back to the school and town.
We offer our brothers a place to gain leadership qualities and to grow both
academically as well as socially. No one is ever a Kappa brother for just their
time at Alfred University. You are a Kappa brother for the rest of your life, as
is obvious when on any given weekend, alumni come back to Alfred to visit the
house.
