| Kappa Phi Gamma focuses its events on community service, sisterhood, fundraising and social activities throughout the academic year. |
| Community Service The ladies of Kappa Phi Gamma aim to help the community through a variety of ways. We have been involved with various institutions to help all those in need in our community. Such institutions include Children's Hospital of Dallas, Trinity Ministries for the Poor, Arc of Dallas, Atria Nursing Home, and Children's Cancer Fund. Whether it is serving food to the less fortunate, to supervising playgroups at Children's Hospital, to visiting with the elderly - the ladies of Kappa Phi Gamma strive to give back to the community in every aspect possible. We continue to make service a priority in everything we do. |
| Other Activites Many of our other acitivities include social activities with other organizations on the UT-Dallas campus, as well as fundraising for our sorority. Take a look at some of our events : Co-sponsored by Delta Epsilon Psi, we held the first-annual All-GreeK Mixer at UT-Dallas. It was the first of its kind, and turned out to be a great success! Rush week is a time for students who are interested in joining our sorority to get to know more about us. We have a week of events focusing on all aspects of the sorority. It's packed with lots of sisterhood, service and spirit! Our fundraising events include working as carhops for Sonic, car washes, raffles, and working at Texas Stadium. We have had a variety of sponsorships from local businesses as well. Thank you Akbar's, Angel Travels, Rasoi, and Taj Mahal Imports! |
| C.A.R.E. Week Held during April, cancer awareness month, this week is dedicated to promoting cancer awareness and raising funds for a local cancer charity. Last year, our charity of choice was Children's Cancer Fund of Dallas. This is an annual tradition for Kappa Phi Gamma, held at each chapter's university. The year before, WE WERE ABLE TO RAISE $4000 TO DONATE TO CHARITY!!! Be sure to watch for the upcoming events in April and help the fight against Cancer! |
