Well although I am used to being
shirtless, I wanted to do something
a little bit special one day while
I was on holiday from work.
I planned what I would do a few
days earlier so that I could tell
someone about it, I figured that
that way I would "have" to go
through with it rather than chicken
out!
The "someone" was a good e-mail
buddy and "encourager" in
California called Ken. Sadly he is no longer with us but I would love to take this
opportunity to thank him so much
for everything he did to encourage me to be happy being shirtless. Cheers mate, and I miss chatting to you loads :-(
Anyway, I planned to spend a
whole afternoon out, driving around
some places and getting out of
the car if possible.
Now I would not be wearing a shirt
for any of this, nor would I have
one with me, but I also decided
to give my house key to a mate as soon as I left home,
knowing that he would be at work
all afternoon. This meant I had no
choice but to stay out for the whole
afternoon without a shirt on!!
Well the weather forecast had been
for sunny spells/showers, and
possible thunder, hail and severe
gale force winds!! In the morning
it was still raining and I thought
about postponing it, but just about
late morning when I was going to
be setting out, the rain stopped
and the clouds were less dark.
