National Programs                                                                              


The Kappa Eta Chapter has successfully implemented
the Fraternity�s three National Programs during this academic year.


�A Vote less People is a Hopeless People�
Voter�s Education Forum conducted on the University of Memphis Campus.  The panel
hosted local and national politicians stressing the importance of voting.
Held six Voters Registration Drives on campus and throughout the local community visiting
three high schools each month.



�Project Alpha�
This program was conducted in conjunction with the graduate chapter. 
This program was targeted to a local Boy Scouts of America Troop #761 & 762



�Go To High School, Go To College�
The chapter hosted students from our adopted high school.  Student participated in the chapter�s
Spend a Day in the Life of a College Student� on the University of Memphis Campus.

This chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc is located at the University of Memphis in Memphis, TN.  Seven tenacious young college men founded this thriving chapter February 2, 1975.  The chapter�s membership has steadily increased since the chapter�s reinstatement in the fall of 1999.  Presently, the chapter has 18 brothers on its roster.

Scholarship


Nearly 80% of the members of the Kappa Eta chapter attend the University of Memphis on academic scholarship.  To maintain high academic excellence the chapter has implemented the following activities to help aid in scholarship.
