* An interest group was comprised of thirty ladies, who met at the Puerto Rican Latin American Cultural Center at the University of Connecticut. Through their meetings they learned more about Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Incorporated.

* Sisters from New Jersey saw how interested and dedicated they were in becoming a part of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Incorporated.

* Sixteen ladies were able to continue. The ladies that established Kappa Chapter on January 12, 1992 at the University of Connecticut were:
