Kappa Alpha Chapter of the Eta Sigma Alpha National Homeschool Honor Society
What We Are:
The mission of the Kappa Alpha Chapter is to promote Christian principles and  integrity in the students through four aspects: Leadership, Community Service, Character, and Scholarship.  Through academic leadership, a student is inducted into the society, and he is expected within the society to show leadership in the community. This is done through a community service project. Honor society members are expected to display integrity in all that they do. The final aspect, scholarship, is formed by the society for a member whose achievements have surpassed the regulations of the Kappa Alpha Chapter.

If you are able to fulfill the requirements for membership, please complete the application form.  Don't forget to attach proof of the requirements, sign the bottom of the form along with your parent/guardian attesting to the correctness of the application, sign the Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct statements agreeing to comply with them at all group related activities, and ask a non-immediate family member to write a brief recommendation and have them mail it directly to the address below.

Please note that if you are accepted into membership, you will be expected to attend the approximately seven meetings planned during the months of October through May for each of your high school years and help with any service projects the group decides to participate in.  These meetings are held in Findlay, Ohio.  There is no deadline for this application because we accept applications year round.  Senior applications are accepted until December 19th of their 12th grade year.

Membership in the Kappa Alpha Chapter will be a great opportunity for our home school scholars to be rewarded for their academic successes. We hope that you will choose to apply for this honor. If you have any questions about the honor society or the application, please do not hesitate to contact one of the co-sponsors.
