With the cooperation of Subterraneos de
Buenos Aires and Metrovias, Electric Locomotive No 908 was restored
and put in service within the "Traction Parade". It will
serve as an auxiliary towing vehicle. |

After 2 years of restoration, Car
No 2 of the former "Palace Car" fleet belonging to the
Anglo Argentine's Subway fleet (the first subway line in south
america), was completely restored with its motors, original command
systems, brakes, and body functions. It was also repainted with it's
"bluesky" livery following the color scheme it has when it
run as a pre-metro from 1913 up to 1926. In this effort were
involved: AAT's Mechanical and Maintainance Division, Subterraneos
de Buenos Aires S.E. and Metrovias (the current subway system
operator). The car, along with its brother Car
No. 3 were shown to the public througout the celebration of the
90th opening to service of the Plaza de Mayo-Caballito line (Line
A). After the event, this vintage formation rode once again the
whole line from Plaza the Mayo to Primera Junta Stations, with
Passengers, local and company's authorities, and some members of the
