Development of Object Oriented Simulator for Railway Scheduling
The project aims at the simulation of trains on the sections of Indian Railways.
It is essentially an decision support system with the help of which user can
make infra-structural and operating decisions. It quantifies the improvements
made by infra-structural additions and answers the questions like whether a
loop line should be added and at what station or intermediate block signals
should be added in between big block sections or money should be spent for stre$
of bridges and turnouts etc. In other words it evaluates the increase in perfor$
for various expenditure alternatives and can help the railways to get maximum
output with minimum spending.
I am expected to do the software architecture
in UML and the coding language is java.
