Hi,
Its diffcult to write about self, but I am tempted to make an attempt. I
am a 24 yr old lad, confused and a bit insecure about life. I feel i am
in trouble when my long term goal seems elusive or when i feel
hard not to
pretend or show off in this world. But perhaps its the way life is, i
find everyone
happy only until I scratch the surface a bit.
Anyway i am optimistic that i will have my way some day in life. I am a
bookworm and really enjoy reading non fiction. Currently i am reading
Will Durant's "the history of philosophy". Eating out and travel to a quiet and remote place are my favourite
pass time. I am a whimsical man and my caprices on railways has irritated
my friends to no end.
I find music a powerful force in life, it can lift your sagging spirits.
My favourites are Jagjit Singh, Lucky Ali and A.R. Rehman apart from
latest hindi movie songs. I am not a sportsman at all but can try my hands
at badminton( my favourite sport), TT, cricket and volleyball. Recently i
have started learning squash.
My favourite dishes are Dal made by my mother and Aalu ki sabzi made by
nidri ( my sister). I have few friends and its diffcult to be a friend of
mine (to tolerate someone like me it not easy). I hate egoistic and moody
people.
At this juncture i have a couple of dreams for my life and i await for
them to come true.

Addendium
I had made this webpage about a year and a half back (May 2000). At that time I was in college and was doing a project. Today, unfortunately I am no longer a student. I am working for ICI India Ltd at their Thane belapur plant as a process engineer. Suddenly this shift has taken place in life, from a carefree student to a responsible manager. Perhaps all of the men have to undergo this ordeal at some point in life.
Job atmosphere is really far far different from college. End are the days of not bathing for 2-3 days, not shaveing for weeks, bunking that painful 8:30 lecture at IIT, sleeping in classes etc. In place, I have been garlanded with daily shaving, formal dressing, a hierarchy where some people call u sir inspite they being elder, formal communication and writing regards in the end of all the mails instead of ****.
